I've been following Danny and Gretchen Elliott's case, and something that keeps coming up in my thoughts is their involvement with Central Baptist Church. It's touching to know how active Danny was in church activities, especially since he sang in the choir and coached youth basketball. I've heard from a few in the community that he was really a source of support and inspiration to the younger kids. The way they speak of him shows how deeply he was appreciated and how much he positively influenced those around him. It's so terribly sad to think about the emotional struggles they must have faced without anyone realizing. I hope the church community finds comfort together while honoring his legacy and helping the younger ones cope with such a loss.
