I'm trying to wrap my head around the impact this must have had on their child, who was actually there during the whole traumatic event. It's unfathomable to think about how this will affect them moving forward. I really hope they're getting all the support and counseling they need right now. The idea that someone so young had to experience such a terrifying situation is just beyond upsetting. Domestic violence cases like this make me wonder if there were any signs that went unnoticed or if this was truly a sudden escalation. Does anyone know if there have been any updates on how the child is doing or the kind of care they're receiving now?
