Does anyone remember if Devon had friends or family in the Huntington area? I know he worked in Barboursville, which isn't too far away. It's been years, but someone out there might have some valuable insights. It seems like if he was planning to visit someone nearby, maybe they noticed something unusual or off about his behavior. I wonder if there’s anyone who saw him after work that day or if he mentioned any plans that seemed out of character. Keeping Devon’s name circulating might just encourage someone to come forward with something helpful. Every bit of information can make a difference!
Has anyone else looked into Devon Everage's work history at Armstrong Cable and O'Charley's? Just thinking out loud, but his connections there might be worth exploring further. I remember reading that workplaces sometimes have info that friends and family might not. Like, did anyone notice anything strange at work in the days leading up to his disappearance? Did he talk about plans or meet any new people? Especially since he worked across state lines in Barboursville, WV, I wonder if he might have mentioned traveling or going somewhere during his shifts. It's a long shot, but maybe there's something there that hasn't come to light yet.
Just stumbled across this case while diving into some unsolved mysteries in the Ohio area, and something caught my eye: the timing of Devon Everage's disappearance. Does anyone else find it curious that he vanished just after summer, in mid-September? There's this theory I've been mulling over—sometimes people go missing around seasonal changes, maybe due to shifting routines. Not that it changes anything about his case, but it makes you wonder if someone took advantage of that time to make him disappear, or if Devon himself felt a need to escape as the summer ended. Anyone have thoughts on whether this is common or if I’m just speculating too much? Really hoping his family gets some answers soon.
