While reading about George Scarborough's case, I was struck by the senselessness of it all. Knowing his life ended in such a violent and heartless way is deeply unsettling. From what family and friends have shared, George seemed like such a positive person who brightened the lives of those around him. It's tragic that someone with such a joyous presence was taken away over what seems to be an intentional and cruel act. I can't help but think about how hard this must be for his family, who are left with no answers and a huge void in their lives. Hoping that the ongoing investigation finds justice for George and brings some solace to his loved ones. It's heartbreaking to think this is just one of many cases stemming from the violence plaguing Baltimore.
