Hi everyone, I've been following the case of Brian Glenfeldt and Belinda Worley, and something that really stands out to me is the way Ferguson manipulated his victims. Posing as a police officer to gain their trust is such a terrifying and deceptive tactic. It makes me think about how vulnerable people are when they believe they're dealing with someone in a position of authority. The local community back then must have been shattered to learn that someone used such a facade to carry out these terrible acts. I can't even begin to imagine the fear they must have felt in those final moments. It really makes you appreciate the bravery of people who stand up against such dangers and fight for justice, even in the face of pure evil. My heart goes out to the families of Brian and Belinda. What a massive betrayal of trust Ferguson's actions were, not just to them, but to our shared sense of safety and community. Would love to hear any thoughts or discussions on how law enforcement today deals with imposters and what measures are in place to prevent such tragedies.
