I've been thinking a lot about the impact of Deputy Ray’s murder on his family and friends. It’s incredible how one senseless act can ripple through so many lives. There’s something profoundly tragic knowing that his community had to face such a loss and come to terms with the sudden absence of someone they respected and loved. It’s a small comfort to know that justice was served, but I often wonder how his family managed to cope in the aftermath. They must have had so much strength to get through those dark days. If anyone here knew Buddy or attended any of the memorials, I would love to hear more about how the community honored him. It’s important that his legacy continues to live on through the stories and memories of those who cherished him.
