Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking a lot about the impact of Deputy Conte’s murder on the Broward County Sheriff's Office. It must have been incredibly difficult for the officers there to lose a colleague so violently in the line of duty. I can't even imagine the toll it took on morale and the sense of security within the team. Just curious how the department coped afterwards. It's admirable how they continued their work despite the immense loss. I wonder if there were any changes implemented in procedures or support systems for the officers following this tragedy. If anyone has insights or additional details about how the department handled this devastating time, it would be great to hear how they managed to move forward.
