Hey everyone,
I was diving back into the details of Officer Kenneth Baldwin's case and couldn't help but think about the state of the crime scene that night. It's really puzzling how an officer on duty, at a closed airport, could end up being shot multiple times without anyone hearing or seeing anything suspicious. The fact that his body was only discovered by a newspaper delivery person even though he was in a relatively open area seems troubling. Wouldn't there have been patrol cars or more security protocols in place, even if it was 1987?
I really feel for his family and the officers who worked with him. It must be incredibly difficult to live with so many unanswered questions all these years. I wish there were better security measures back then—it may have made a difference. I hope with the advances in forensic technology and investigative techniques, some justice can eventually be found for him and his family.
If anyone has theories or insights into the security protocols at that time, I'd love to hear your thoughts. Maybe there's something we all have overlooked over the years that could spark a new lead.
Stay safe, everyone.
