Has anyone else looked into how the Belleair Police Department has changed its training or protocols since Officer Jeffery Tackett was killed in 1993? His death was such a tragic loss, not just for the community but for his family and colleagues too. I wonder if there have been any updates or changes implemented over the years to try and prevent something like this from happening again. Losing an officer in such a devastating way must have been a wake-up call. I hope they’ve taken steps to ensure the safety of others in his memory. My heart goes out to all his loved ones still dealing with his loss. Any info or insights would be really appreciated.
