I’ve been thinking a lot about the legacy Captain Saxton Jones left behind, especially in the Florida Highway Patrol family. It’s clear from the stories shared by his colleagues that he was so much more than just a dedicated officer. It’s touching to hear how he not only mentored so many young recruits but also how he maintained connections across the different counties where he served. It's no small feat to be remembered so fondly across such a wide area. It speaks volumes about his character that he left such a lasting impression on everyone. My heart goes out to his family and friends who were fortunate to have him in their lives. It's comforting to know that he’s still celebrated and remembered for all the good he brought into the world.
