I've been following Edward Thornburg's case since it first hit the news, and something I find baffling is the lack of any sightings of his 1997 Saturn SL. I mean, cars like that aren’t exactly easy to hide for such a long time, right? It's as if both Ed and his car vanished into thin air. With a Tennessee license plate, you'd think someone would've spotted it by now—it's not like the kind of car you see every day, especially in that color. Has anyone here ever heard of a case where both the person and their vehicle go completely missing and no one's able to track it down? It's almost like they were intentionally trying to disappear, but then, why would he need a lot of cash for that? Just some thoughts I'm pondering—hoping for a miracle update soon.
I was reading about Edward Todd Thornburg's case and something about his car stood out to me. I can't shake the feeling that the disappearance of his gray 1997 Saturn SL might hold more clues than we realize. It's odd that the car hasn't turned up either, right? I mean, you'd think a 1997 model in that distinct color would have been spotted somewhere by now, either abandoned or sold for parts. I've read that missing person cases often have breakthroughs when vehicles are found since they provide a trail or maybe some physical evidence. Has anyone looked into whether similar cars have been seen in nearby areas since his disappearance? Maybe even checking with auto repair shops or scrap yards could yield some information. I hope the investigation hasn't lost focus on tracking the car. What do you guys think? Any insights or ideas on this angle?
Has anyone noticed the strange circumstances surrounding Edward Todd Thornburg's disappearance? The fact that he had a large amount of money on him when he left that day makes me wonder if he had plans we aren't aware of. It's so odd that both he and his car have vanished without a trace since 2016. Could it be possible that someone he knew or was meeting may have been involved? It seems like someone with that much money wouldn't just disappear without leaving a trail. Hoping there's been some oversight that could help bring some closure to his family. If there’s anyone here familiar with the area or who knew Edward, what were his usual hangouts or places he frequented? Maybe focusing on those could turn up something new.
