I still can't believe the brutality of what happened to Julie Green and the other women. It’s haunting to think of their last moments at those desolate sites. My heart truly goes out to Julie's daughters, Ashley and Christine. Growing up without their mother because of such a senseless act must have been unimaginably difficult. I hope they’ve found some support and strength through the years. It’s also unsettling how these women became targets simply because they were vulnerable in society’s eyes. We need to do better in supporting and protecting all members of our community. I'm relieved Hayes' conviction brought a semblance of justice, but the emotional scars such cases leave on the families are enduring. I pray they find some peace now. Does anyone know if there have been any local efforts to memorialize Julie and the others, or provide support for vulnerable women in the area? We need more awareness to prevent tragedies like this from happening again.
