I’ve been following the Juanita Conde case since it happened, and something that always stuck with me is thinking about the children who were in the home that night. It must have been incredibly terrifying and confusing for them, and my heart goes out to those kids for having gone through such an ordeal. They were so young and had their lives turned upside down in an instant.
I wonder how the community and extended family were able to come together to support and rally around these children in the aftermath.
