Has anyone else been reflecting on how the tragic loss of Officer David Lamar Curtis impacted his family? I've been thinking a lot about his wife and four young sons and how difficult it must have been for them to navigate life without him. It's hard to imagine the pain and void left behind when someone so dedicated and brave is suddenly taken away. His service to the community, especially his role with the Honor Guard, shows the type of person he was—devoted not just in uniform but also in heart. I hope the community continues to support his family, and keep his memory alive through their acts of kindness and support for one another. Officer Curtis’s story is a poignant reminder of the bravery and vulnerability faced by those who commit their lives to public service every day.
