Hi everyone, I was reading more about Tavares Miller's case, and I can't stop thinking about the impact on Tavares's neighborhood and community. It's so difficult to comprehend how quickly things can change due to acts of violence. I noticed that his death prompted various initiatives in the Sarasota area to combat gun violence and support at-risk youth. Have any of you come across information on how successful these initiatives have been or if the community has seen any positive changes since Tavares's case? It's inspiring to see a community come together in the face of such a tragedy, but it also highlights how much work still needs to be done to address the root causes of violence.
