In the late summer of 2008, the life of Terry L. Keitt, a 34-year-old African-American man, was tragically cut short in Boston, Massachusetts. On the evening of Friday, September 5, 2008, Keitt was fatally stabbed at 199 Washington Street. When officers from the Boston Police Department arrived at the scene, they discovered Keitt, who was later pronounced dead. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner subsequently ruled his death a homicide.
