I was thinking about the surveillance footage from the Walgreens near where Officer German was shot. It’s frustrating how circumstances like poor lighting can create so much uncertainty and make it difficult to piece together exactly what happened. My heart goes out to Officer German’s family and the departments working on this case; I can only imagine how much they want definite answers during such a painful time. It highlights how vital clear evidence is in delivering justice and closure. Has anyone heard if they’ve made any technological advancements since then to improve camera quality in low-light conditions for incidents like this? Might be worth discussing how tech could aid investigations in the future. RIP Officer German.
