I came across this case while looking into tragic events that seemed to have no warning signs. Something that strikes me about the Campbell case is how Darrin Campbell didn't show any outward signs of turmoil, at least none that friends or family picked up on. Does anyone else find it unsettling that someone can function in society, hold positions of trust, and yet mask something so sinister beneath the surface? It's a chilling reminder that mental or emotional struggles aren't always visible to those around us. My heart truly goes out to the friends and family who were left grappling with this unimaginable loss. They were part of a community that thought they knew this family, and yet, in the end, there were so many unanswered questions. It just makes you think about how important it is to check in on the people we care about, even if they seem perfectly fine on the outside.
