I can't help but think about the incredibly difficult position Derek Mckinnon's family and friends must find themselves in today. It’s been years, and with still no resolution, I imagine the frustration is only compounded by the pain of losing a loved one. The fact that Derek managed to get himself to the hospital after being shot is a testament to his will to survive – even in his final moments, he showed incredible strength. I hope that gives some comfort to those who knew him.
It's so disheartening that there are no leads or arrests, and it speaks volumes about the struggles faced by law enforcement in Baltimore back then. The fear of coming forward with information must have been very real, given the climate of violence and mistrust at the time. I can only hope someone has a change of heart and decides to speak up in the future. It’s sad to see another promising life lost to senseless violence, and I hope Derek’s loved ones find peace and closure someday.
Hey everyone, I've been looking into Derek "Diesel" Mckinnon's case, and I came across something that really struck me about his story. It’s so unsettling that Derek managed to get himself to the hospital despite being critically injured. Just try to imagine that level of determination and fight he must have had in those final moments. To me, it speaks volumes about the kind of person he was—probably someone tough and resilient. Yet, it's so tragic to think that even with all that resolve, he couldn’t pull through.
It's incredibly sad and frustrating that his case remains unsolved, and I can only imagine the pain his family and friends must feel knowing that justice hasn't been served. If anyone has any theories or leads that might help shed some light on this, I’d love to hear them. Keeping the conversation going might just help in ways we can’t yet see.
Hey everyone,
I’ve been digging into the tragic case of Derek McKinnon, or "Diesel" as some knew him. One aspect that really stands out to me is how he managed to walk himself into a hospital after getting shot. It's almost unfathomable to think about the strength and determination he must have had in those moments. It truly speaks to who he was as a person, not just a victim.
It's incredibly concerning how his case, like many others, has remained unsolved for so long, and it hits me that this might have a lot to do with the fear that hangs over potential witnesses. Baltimore saw a lot of violence during that time, so people might be too scared to step forward. This must be so difficult for Derek’s family and friends, not having any closure all these years later.
Does anyone remember any community efforts or protests urging local authorities for action on these unsolved cases? Sending strength to everyone affected by this.
