I’ve been following the Bonnie-Lyn Motto case, and I keep thinking about the impact this has had on the Ocala community. It's devastating to see how domestic violence can shatter lives. I’ve read that Bonnie-Lyn was a loving daughter and a kind soul, and it’s just unimaginable what her family and friends must be going through. This tragedy is a stark reminder of how crucial it is to address domestic violence. It makes me wonder what more can be done to help individuals like Bonnie-Lyn before things escalate to this point. My thoughts are with the Motto family and everyone affected by this senseless act. How do others feel about our community’s resources for domestic violence prevention and intervention? Are there enough support systems in place, or do we need more outreach and awareness?
