I've been reflecting on the musical side of Thomas Edward McIntee's life. It's always incredibly moving to learn about the passions that filled a victim’s life. From what I've gathered, Thomas had a real talent for playing the saxophone and creating collages, two art forms that certainly reveal a vibrant and creative spirit. I can only imagine how his love for music and art brought joy not only to him but to everyone around him. It's such a stark contrast to the tragic way his life was taken. I hope the celebration of his talents continues through community efforts and memorials. These aspects of his personality not only honor his memory but hopefully inspire anyone with knowledge of that night to come forward. It’s a reminder of the beauty he added to the world, which makes his loss all the more profound. Hoping the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office can gather enough evidence soon to bring some closure to his family and friends who cherished him dearly.
