I was revisiting some of the details surrounding Rashid Keblawe's case and thinking about that tragic Thanksgiving morning. Something that stands out to me is the fact that Rashid was simply going about his daily routine, serving his community, as he had likely done countless times before. It's chilling how quickly a routine moment can become a horrifying encounter.
It's clear that these two men knew exactly what they were doing. The description of them casually entering like any other customers makes it all the more sinister. What baffles me is how, despite the clear footage and the descriptions, no one has been caught. It makes me wonder if these guys have done this before or if they had some sort of getaway support. Given the details about the car, someone must have seen something that day, especially since tinted windows are pretty noticeable.
Every time I think about his family, especially his child who was born just after the tragedy, it reminds me of how senseless violence impacts not just the victims, but ripples through the lives of everyone connected to them. I'm really hoping the new rendering of the suspect helps bring some closure to Rashid’s family. Someone out there knows something—it's just a matter of time and courage for them to come forward.
Has anyone else been thinking about the surveillance footage from the Seven Stars Beer Depot? The details are haunting. I can't help but wonder about the mindset of those men when they entered Rashid Keblawe's store, pretending to be shoppers. The idea that they could act so "normal" right before committing such a brutal act is chilling.
I'm curious if anyone else finds it odd how premeditated the attack appears. Were these guys professionals? And why wasn't there more physical evidence left behind if it was indeed a targeted hit? I pray someone in the community comes forward with the pieces that could solve this puzzle. Rashid's family, especially his child who never got to meet him, deserves justice and some semblance of peace. It's heartbreaking to think about all the moments lost for them. Hopefully, the ongoing investigation will soon bring some answers.
