Hey everyone,
I've been following the tragic case of Ernest Edwards Jr. Barnes from June 2014. What's been really weighing on my mind lately is the lack of solid witness accounts. It's such a chilling reminder of how community silence can turn the quest for justice into an uphill battle. I can't help but wonder if there were people around who might have been too scared or unsure about coming forward. Baltimore was going through such a rough time with crimes back then, and I can totally understand the fear and confusion that people may have felt. Have any of you ever seen examples where breaking that silence really turned a case around? Hoping for some insights and also holding onto hope that someone with information might find the courage to speak up. Ernest and his loved ones deserve answers.
Stay safe,

Hey everyone,
I've been following the Ernest Edwards Jr. Barnes case since it happened, and it's always stuck with me how challenging this has been for everyone involved. I keep thinking about his family and can't imagine what they've had to go through, especially with the lack of leads. It must have been incredibly frustrating for them to hold onto hope with so little information.
What really strikes me is how Ernest's murder is just one in a series of violent crimes during that time in Baltimore. It feels like the system is overwhelmed, and I wonder if there are ways that community outreach or resources could have been improved to encourage more people to come forward with information back then. Isn't it so vital for communities and police to find ways to work together more effectively in situations like this?
Would love to hear your thoughts on how we could avoid cases going cold like this in the future. His family deserves answers, and it really makes you think about how necessary it is to find ways to improve trust and communication between the community and law enforcement.
Fingers crossed that they get the justice they're seeking.
Stay safe out there.
