Has anyone else looked into the weather conditions off the coast of Hawaii around October 15, 2016? It seems like the high winds played a major role in what happened to Charles Nathan Locklar and his uncle. I found some weather reports indicating that the ocean was pretty rough that day, which might explain why their skiff capsized. Does anyone have insights on how frequently boats capsize in those conditions or know of similar incidents in that area? It's so important to understand all the factors involved, especially when it comes to safety. I can’t imagine what Charles’ family must be going through, especially without having full closure on what exactly happened out in the water that day.
