Amanda Colley’s case is just incredibly tragic. I was thinking today about the support system she had around her that morning with Lindy, Rachel, and Lamar. It’s gut-wrenching that what was meant to be a safe space for Amanda, surrounded by friends and loved ones, turned into the scene of such devastation. Her friends were absolute pillars of strength there to help her through an unimaginably tough time with James’s behavior escalating. I can’t imagine how Lamar and Rachel must feel after witnessing such horror. They were there to provide love and support, showing the community she had around her, and it’s heartening to know that Amanda was cared for so deeply. If anything, I hope this serves as an important reminder for us all about the importance of standing by friends and family in their time of need. Sending love out to all who are grieving Amanda and Lindy.

Has anyone else been following the chilling details surrounding Amanda Colley's tragic death? I just read about how her estranged husband, James Colley, had violated a domestic violence injunction and still managed to get to her. I can't help but feel for Amanda and her family. It seems like she was loved by so many, and she had such a strong support system with her friends and boyfriend by her side. It makes me wonder how often these protective measures fail victims and their families. The fact that he acted so soon after being in court for violating the injunction just shows how determined he was to cause harm. My heart goes out to the Colley and Dobbins families, and everyone who knew them. They didn't deserve this. How can we better protect those in similar situations?
