I’ve been thinking about Desi's case and what a pivotal role his background might have played in the investigation. Being the son of a retired officer could have influenced both the intensity and the pressure of the investigation. I truly hope it brought more resources into play, but there's a part of me that worries it might have complicated things, too. His father must be going through an unimaginable emotional struggle, grappling with the loss of his son while navigating these complexities. It's disheartening to see that despite his ties to law enforcement, justice still feels so out of reach. Something about this case just doesn't sit right with me—there's so much we don't know.
