Has anyone else been following the Hyatt Regency Orlando case from 2015? I’ve been thinking a lot about the witness who encountered Mathnald Dareus in the parking garage right after the shooting. It must have been absolutely terrifying to not only hear that gunshot but then to come face-to-face with someone pointing a gun at you. I can’t imagine how that brief moment must have affected the witness's life. It seems like a detail that often gets lost when focusing on the main events, but it’s a crucial part of the story. So many lives were impacted that day beyond just the victim and the perpetrator. My thoughts go out to Harry's family and everyone else who got caught up in this chaos.
