I’ve been thinking a lot about Robert Mark Schaaf's disappearance and something that stands out to me is how there haven't been any updates on potential sightings over the years. It’s perplexing how someone can seemingly vanish without any trace, especially in a community like Mill Valley. With the description of his attire being quite specific—a plaid jacket with a gray hood—it’s surprising that there weren’t any distinctive reports or even a memory jogged by such identifiable clothing. This got me wondering if perhaps he traveled further than initially thought, maybe outside of the typical search radius. Has anyone looked into sightings or reports in neighboring towns or counties around that time? Even a small detail could make such a big difference in finding new leads. Would love to hear if anyone remembers anything from around December 2016 or if there are similar cases nearby that might provide a clue.
Wow, I stumbled upon the case of Robert Mark Schaaf while diving into some missing person discussions, and something that caught my attention was the lack of any digital footprints. For someone in this day and age, even in 2016, it's odd that there aren't any hints from social media activity or cellphone records. It makes me wonder if there’s more going on here, like whether Robert had perhaps severed ties with technology intentionally. Or maybe his digital stuff just wasn't looked into thoroughly? Either way, it’s puzzling that there's not even a breadcrumb trail online. Anyone here have any thoughts or more info about his tech use prior to disappearing? Curious to see what everyone thinks!
Hey everyone, I’ve been following Robert Mark Schaaf’s case since it started back in 2016, and something that's really puzzled me is the lack of surveillance footage from the area he disappeared. Mill Valley isn’t that big, and with businesses around, I’d think there would be some cameras that captured something. Has anyone heard why there might not be any video evidence? Did they just not canvas the area thoroughly enough, or was it an issue with the footage quality? It seems like such a gap in the investigation. Anyone from the area who might have insight on this?
