I've been following Corey's case since it happened, and it's truly distressing to see how many similar tragedies have gone unsolved in Baltimore. The location where Corey was found, with no surveillance cameras and likely few witnesses, seems to be a perfect storm for a case going cold. I can't imagine what his family must be going through, not having answers or seeing justice served. It's like these senseless acts of violence keep happening, and the victims and their families are left with so little closure. Are there any community efforts happening now to help support the families of victims or maybe even generate new leads for these unsolved cases? I think grassroots efforts might be crucial in filling the gaps that law enforcement alone struggles to address.
Has anyone else been following the case of Corey Jr. Lide? It's so tragic what happened to him. I was reading about how he was found in a wooded area near Nottingham Road, and it got me thinking about how incredibly tough it must be for investigators when these places lack surveillance cameras. Without that type of footage, they're really left in the dark sometimes.
I can’t imagine how Corey’s family must feel, especially not knowing all the details about what happened to him. It’s just so unfair. I've read about Baltimore's crime issues during that time, and it breaks my heart that more cases like Corey’s go unsolved. It's like these young lives are put on hold with no closure in sight. Sending love to those who knew Corey. I truly hope they find peace and that justice is served eventually.
I’ve been trying to wrap my head around the lack of leads in Corey Jr. Lide’s case. It’s incredibly frustrating and sad to see another young life lost with so few answers. The fact that the area where he was found didn’t have any surveillance cameras is such a hurdle. I can’t imagine what his family must be going through, especially knowing that the lack of evidence makes it so much harder for those responsible to be brought to justice. It gets me thinking about how the broader issues of violence and crime in Baltimore affect not just the statistics, but real families who are left in the dark and in pain. What more can be done to get the community to come forward and help solve these cases? Sending love to everyone who knew Corey.
