It's truly devastating to think about the ripple effects this kind of violence has on a community. Deonte Rashad Allen's death has left a major scar in New Town. I can't imagine what his family must be going through, and the whole neighborhood must be feeling on edge with no answers and no closure. What really caught my attention was the number of cars leaving the scene right around the time of the shooting. This makes me wonder if there are more witnesses out there with vital information. It seems like fear might be keeping people silent, but maybe there's a way to anonymously provide tips that could help lead to some answers. What do you all think could encourage more people to step forward? Sending thoughts and prayers to Deonte’s family and hoping his case doesn't go cold. No family should have to live with this kind of uncertainty.
