I've been thinking a lot about the area where Daniel Carter was killed. The 2300 block of McCulloh Street has seen its share of violence, not just in 2014 but over the years. It's so frustrating to see how certain spots become notorious like this and how it affects the people living there. I can't imagine the fear and stress the residents must feel, especially knowing that justice hasn't been served in Daniel's case. It raises so many questions about what measures can be taken to make these neighborhoods safer and how the community can come together to support families like Daniel's. Would love to hear thoughts on effective community involvement and any positive stories of change in similar areas.
