Hi everyone, I've been following CJ Joseph's case, and something that's been haunting me is how this young man was caught in a situation that so many families worry about. The fact that CJ had been shot just a week before his murder is chilling. His family was actively trying to protect him, hoping to move to a safer area, but ultimately couldn't shield him from this senseless violence. It's unimaginable what they must be going through, having been so close to potential safety but losing him just before they could make that change. Living in a neighborhood with a history of gang violence is terrifying enough, but for CJ's family to have been aware of the danger and unable to escape it in time is just devastating. It makes me think about how tough it must be for so many families who are trying everything they can to give their kids a better life but find themselves fighting against circumstances beyond their control. My heart really goes out to them. We have to find ways to better support these families and offer realistic paths to safer communities. Let's keep talking about what we can do to make these changes happen, not just to prevent another life like CJ's from being taken, but to help others living in fear right now.
