Does anyone else think about how schools address these tragedies with students? I can't even imagine what the students at North Port High School went through after losing someone like Antoinette Gordon in such a traumatic way. As a teacher, she must have had such a direct and personal impact on her students. I just hope the school provided ample resources for counseling and support for both students and staff. It's crucial for those left behind to have a safe space to process such a harrowing event. My thoughts are with everyone affected—it’s a situation no community should have to endure.
