Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking a lot about Juan Ramon Guerrero and the beautiful relationship he had with his boyfriend, Drew. It just brings a tear to my eye knowing that they were planning a future together, and it's just so tragic that it was taken away from them at Pulse. I read that their families were incredibly supportive of their relationship and even held a joint funeral for them. Can you imagine the strength that took? It's so rare to see that kind of love and acceptance, especially after such a devastating loss. I truly hope their story inspires more people to accept and love freely. Does anyone else know more about their family or how they’re doing these days? Sending all my thoughts and support to everyone affected. ❤️

I’ve been thinking a lot about Juan Ramon Guerrero’s family as we approach another anniversary of the Pulse tragedy. It must have been so hard for them not just to lose him but also knowing he and Drew had dreams of marrying someday. Juan had only recently come out to them, and they were so accepting and supportive. I can't imagine how that love gave him strength, and the bond they shared is something truly special. When his cousin talked about him staying in to care for his niece and nephew, it gave such a wonderful picture of who he was—a nurturing soul who prioritized family. I hope his story continues to inspire others to live authentically and cherish their loved ones. If anyone has more insights or memories about Juan’s time at UCF or experiences with him, I’d love to hear them to better honor his memory.

I've been thinking a lot about how incredibly supportive Juan Ramon Guerrero's family was when he came out. It's tough enough to come out, and having your family's acceptance means the world. It breaks my heart that they had to lose such an amazing person so tragically. His cousin's words about him caring for his niece and nephew instead of going out just show the kind of gentle soul he was. Losing both Juan and Drew in this senseless act is beyond tragic. It makes me so angry that hate still targets such beautiful lives who had so much more to give. Rest in peace, Juan and Drew. You deserve to be remembered for the love and kindness you brought to this world, not for how you left it.
