I can’t stop thinking about the bravery of the hospital security guards on that fateful morning at Parrish Medical Center. In a situation as terrifying as an active shooter, their quick and decisive actions really made a difference. It's hard to even imagine what it's like to face a gunman without any weapons, but they did just that, potentially saving more lives. What stands out to me is how essential proper training and preparedness are in emergency situations — these guards risked their safety to protect everyone in the hospital. It’s a testament to their courage and dedication, which I’m sure the community and the families impacted by this tragedy deeply appreciate. Anyone else feel the same way about the importance of security preparedness in hospitals after hearing about this case?
