I’ve been following Jada Page’s case for a while now and it just stays with me. What really gets to me is how many other kids were playing outside at the time. It’s terrifying to think about how easy it is for something so tragic to happen in a place where children are supposed to feel safe. I can’t imagine what her family, particularly her mom Rosalind, goes through each day knowing that Jada was simply being a kid in what should have been a safe space. It makes you realize how important it is for communities to come together to demand change. Has anyone here heard if there’s been any improvement in local safety measures since the incident? I really hope Jada’s story inspires some serious action.
