Hey everyone,
I wanted to discuss something that's been on my mind about Steven Jackson’s case—the impact of community silence. It’s been over eight years since Steven was killed, and it’s devastating that his family still has no answers. It's understandable given the environment, but I often wonder how much the lack of witnesses coming forward has affected the investigation. Baltimore's no-snitch culture is really challenging for law enforcement, but at the same time, I can't help but empathize with those who might be scared to speak up. Many people have families to protect and live in fear of retaliation.
It's heartbreaking for Steven’s family, who have to carry the pain of losing him without the closure of knowing who was responsible. I truly hope that someone with information will eventually feel safe enough to come forward. Until then, I think it's crucial to keep this case in the spotlight, even after all these years. If anyone has any ideas on how to encourage community cooperation without putting people at risk, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Every small step could lead to finding justice for Steven and so many others.
I was reading about Steven Jackson's case, and it’s just so heavy to think about all the pain his family must be feeling without any resolution. Something that particularly bothers me is how the lack of community cooperation hinders progress in solving these cases. I understand the fear people might have about coming forward, especially in areas with high crime rates, but without collaboration, it seems impossible to get justice for Steven and others like him. It feels like the police are doing what they can, but with limited resources and the flood of cases, they're just stretched too thin. I wonder what could be done to bridge the gap between the community and law enforcement to ensure cooperation without fear of backlash. Thoughts?
