I’ve been following the tragic case of the Valencia family, and I can’t stop thinking about Jael Valencia and her promising future that was cruelly cut short. At 18, Jael was on the cusp of adulthood, likely full of dreams and aspirations, yet she didn’t get the chance to pursue them. I read somewhere that she was considering college, which just makes this whole situation even more devastating. I can't imagine the pain Jael’s friends must be going through, losing someone so young and full of potential. It’s difficult to comprehend that someone she should have been able to trust ended up causing her so much harm. My heart goes out to everyone affected by this tragedy. I really hope the community finds ways to support each other and keep Jael’s memory alive. If anyone has information on memorials or ways to honor her life, please share.

I can't stop thinking about those two young girls, Jael and Melani, who had their whole lives ahead of them. It's so puzzling and sad to think about how a father who was described as devoted could do something so terrible. I can't imagine what their friends and family are going through, trying to process this loss. It’s stories like these that remind me how fragile life can be and how sometimes you never really know the struggles someone might be facing on the inside. One comforting thought is seeing how the community has rallied together in support, with efforts like the GoFundMe to help cover funeral expenses. It’s a small light in such a dark situation, showing that even amidst tragedy, people come together to support and carry each other through. My heart goes out to everyone affected by this horrific event.
