I've been following Alvin Parker's case, and what really strikes me is the lack of witnesses or leads. It's so disheartening to see this young man's life taken so violently, and yet it feels like his story is slipping through the cracks because of the silence surrounding it. There must have been people around at that time; it's a residential area, after all. I wonder if anyone who has hesitated to come forward needs just the slightest encouragement or reassurance that their information, big or small, could make a world of difference. It's easy to overlook a detail, thinking it's insignificant, but you never know what might be the key to catching his killer. Anyone in Miami during that night, please think back to anything unusual—it might just be the breakthrough Alvin's family needs. Sending strength and hope to all who loved him.
