Has anyone else been following the tragic case of Elliott DeMorris DeShawn Byrd? One aspect that's been really bothering me is the involvement of multiple firearms in the January 12 shooting. It's alarming that there seemed to be an arsenal during this entire ordeal. I can’t help but think about how it might have impacted the investigation. Tracking down so many different weapons and matching them to the right individuals must be incredibly challenging for the police. Does anyone know if this suggests an organized effort by those involved? It’s so upsetting to think about the fear Elliott must have felt during those incidents. My heart goes out to his family, as they had to endure this unimaginable pain. I hope the police can piece everything together to bring some closure in this ordeal.

I've been thinking a lot about the role that Elliott played in his community. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, he must have touched so many lives with his work. It's so tragic to see someone like him, who dedicated his life to caring for others, become a victim of such senseless violence. His colleagues and patients are probably feeling a tremendous loss right now. I can't even imagine how difficult it must be for them to process all of this. Anyone who’s in the healthcare field knows how deeply you form connections with those you care for. Elliott's absence is surely felt far beyond just his immediate family. Hoping that justice finds its way and brings some semblance of peace to everyone who knew him.
