Hey everyone, I stumbled upon this case about Shawn Hickman while diving into old unresolved cases from Baltimore, and it's just been weighing heavily on my mind. I can't get past the fact that his murder was caught on one of the city's surveillance cameras, yet we're still in the dark about who did this to him. It's baffling to me because you'd think that kind of footage would provide some solid leads, right? I also think about his family and how unbearable it must be to have so few answers all these years later. I genuinely hope that the investigation gets a fresh set of eyes or that someone who knows something will come forward. It's so crucial that we keep discussing these cases and not let them fade into the background, as hard as it might be among all the other challenges Baltimore is facing. Does anyone know if there have been any updates or renewed efforts to solve Shawn’s case recently? Keeping his loved ones in my thoughts.

Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the tragic loss of Shawn Hickman and can't help but wonder about the role of surveillance cameras in cases like this. It's so frustrating to know that there was footage from a city surveillance camera the night Shawn was killed, yet still no suspects have been identified. Does anyone know what typically happens with this kind of evidence? I mean, is there a lack of resources to analyze this footage, or are there just too many cases for detectives to handle these days? And how do they determine which leads are worth following? It seems like in a city grappling with so much violence, every piece of evidence should be critical. Shawn’s family deserves answers, and I can’t imagine the agony of waiting years without any closure. Just sending thoughts to them and hoping justice comes soon ?. Would love to hear others' thoughts or similar experiences.
