Did anyone else hear about the arrest of Scott Cinevert in connection with the Bowman Park shootings? It's unsettling to think about how a public space meant for families and kids became the scene of such a tragedy. Matthew and Marcus were so young and had their whole lives ahead of them. The fact that they were targeted like this is terrifying. It’s somewhat reassuring to see PBSO making progress with Cinevert’s arrest, but it’s distressing that he was involved in planning it. Are there any updates on whether they've found out who actually carried out the shooting? It feels like the community needs some closure on this and any others involved need to be brought to justice. My thoughts are with the families of Matthew and Marcus. They’ve suffered unimaginable losses, and it’s hard not to think about how it could have been any one of us or our loved ones in that park. If anyone has more recent updates, please share.

I’ve been following the case of Matthew Makarits and Marcus Stukes, and it’s just so difficult to comprehend how something like this could happen in a place that should feel safe. I remember visiting Bowman Park as a kid, and knowing that these two young lives were taken away in such a public area is especially disturbing. It's a stark reminder that no place is immune to violence. I can't imagine what their families are going through. The arrest of Scott Cinevert might be a step forward for justice, but it doesn't heal the loss. Both Matthew and Marcus had so much potential ahead of them. Matthew, with his dreams of joining the Army, had a life full of promise cut tragically short. It’s deeply frustrating that the violence has also instilled fear within a community space, affecting countless families who now have to grapple with the loss of a sense of security. My heart goes out to everyone affected, and I truly hope further justice prevails as the investigation continues.
