Did anyone else find it odd that "Bernadette," who supposedly had some of Janelle's belongings, never got more attention from authorities? I'm not implying anything shady, but if she had Janelle's stuff six weeks after she disappeared, wouldn’t it be important to learn more about how she came into possession of them? It’s baffling that there wasn’t more of a follow-up. Janelle's liver disease is a serious condition—this isn't just a matter of someone voluntarily going off the grid. Maybe there are more leads related to Bernadette that just haven’t been made public? Curious to hear others' thoughts on this angle.

Has anyone else been following Janelle M. Johnson's case closely? I'm curious about this "Bernadette" who contacted the social worker six weeks later. It seems strange that someone would have Janelle’s belongings and then come forward like that. Why hasn't anyone been able to find Bernadette or gather more information from her? It's so frustrating how these little leads don't seem to go anywhere. Seems like figuring out who she is might shed some light or provide a clue that could help find Janelle or at least understand what was going on during that time. Wonder if anyone who knew Janelle or was staying at that group home around her disappearance might know something about Bernadette. It just feels like a big piece of the puzzle that's missing. What do you all think?

Has anyone looked deeper into this "Bernadette" person who came forward with Janelle's belongings? What could be the reason for having those items? It seems really odd to me that someone would come forward six weeks after she vanished and not offer any more information about seeing or being with Janelle. I know the authorities don’t suspect foul play, but it still seems like a significant detail that might help us better understand what happened around that time. Would be interesting to hear thoughts on why "Bernadette" decided to come forward and if there could be more behind it.
