I’ve been following Dontez Lamar Patton’s case for a while now, and it's really stuck with me how someone so young could be taken away in such a tragic and violent manner. One thing that troubles me is the time of the incident—just after 6 p.m., in what sounds like a fairly busy area. It’s hard to believe no one saw anything or at least noticed something suspicious around the Sun Bay Apartments. Parking lots usually have some activity, right?
I wonder if there's a possibility that someone might have seen something out of the ordinary but hasn't realized their info could help. If anyone was around that area and recalls any detail, no matter how small, reaching out could possibly make a difference. I’m really hoping more information comes to light soon, not only for justice to be served but to give his family some sense of peace. Dontez deserved so much more from life.
It's tough to imagine what Dontez's family is going through, especially with the case still unsolved after all this time. I can't help but wonder about the security measures at the Sun Bay Apartments on the day of the shooting. Were there any surveillance cameras in the parking lot or nearby areas? It's surprising that, in this day and age, there isn’t more footage coming to light. I feel like any bit of evidence could be a game-changer. Praying someone with info steps forward soon. I also hope the community can rally together and support his family during this incredibly difficult journey.
