Hey everyone, I recently came across Akia Eggleston's case again and something that really stands out to me is how her family and friends knew something was wrong the moment she didn't show up for her baby shower. It's incredible how strong family intuition can be. I mean, Akia was so excited about it, planning everything down to the smallest detail. It must have been a massive red flag for everyone when she didn’t appear. Does anyone else think that close-knit communities seem to notice these things quicker? It's frustrating and sad that it took years for justice to finally be served. Her story definitely makes me think about the importance of listening when someone goes missing, especially if it's completely out of character for them.
