Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Telly Jamell Simmons and can't get over how unsettling that night must have been in Jacksonville. From what I understand, Telly was found at an apartment complex on Bert Road after being shot. It really makes you think about how chaotic that must have been—not just for Telly, but for everyone in the area.
What I find really troubling is that his shooting was one of three incidents that night. I mean, how does something like that happen? It’s hard to wrap your head around the fact that, despite all this happening so close in time, the police weren't able to connect the dots between the shootings right away. I can only imagine how deeply frustrating and painful this has been for his family and friends, having to face such uncertainty.
From everything I’ve read, it seems like the police are doing what they can, but with no suspects named, it's like everything's at a standstill, and I can't imagine how hard that must be. I really hope that someone out there knows something and decides to come forward. Telly deserves justice, and his loved ones need answers.
