Did anyone else find it odd that Richard seemed to have been making plans to propose during Christmas? It really makes me wonder about his state of mind leading up to the tragedy. His parents seemed convinced that he was genuinely happy and planning for the future. It's so puzzling how tragedies like this can strike seemingly out of nowhere. I can’t imagine what Holly’s family is going through, especially thinking everything was fine one moment and then having their whole world turned upside down the next. Has anyone read more about Richard's past or if there were any warning signs that maybe weren't obvious at first?

I came across the tragic case of Holly Given, and there's something really haunting about how sudden her loss was. I read that neighbors only reported hearing a "pop" around midnight before everything went silent. It's chilling to think how so much can change in an instant.
Holly was known for being a standout athlete and seemed to bring so much light to her community.
