Hey everyone, I was thinking a lot about the details surrounding Willie "Frog" Dornes Jr.'s tragic death. It's so unsettling to think about the escalation of violence that afternoon, especially considering how it began with a confrontation that could happen any day in any neighborhood. That poor young mother and her kids must have been absolutely terrified. It’s frightening how quickly things turned dangerous and deadly. What I can’t wrap my head around is why this spree seemed so random and reckless. I’m hoping that Willie’s community gathers strength from each other, and that justice brings some peace to his family and friends. He truly deserved a safe space to live out his years and share his warmth with everyone around him. Why do you think these violent sprees are happening more frequently?
