Has anyone looked into the witness reports about Ashley being spotted on U.S. Highway 89 the night she disappeared? I've read about the possibility of her running from a vehicle, but there doesn't seem to be much public info available on who the eyewitnesses were or what exactly they saw. Given that a lot of this case revolves around the scant evidence we have, eyewitness accounts could be crucial. Is there any clarity on how seriously these reports have been followed up on by the authorities? It seems odd that with multiple agencies involved, there's been no detailed breakdown of these sightings. I just can't help but wonder if more light could be shed on Ashely's whereabouts from these leads...
