Has anyone else been thinking about how this tragedy has impacted Mezcal Bar’s staff and patrons who were there that night? I can't imagine the trauma they must be dealing with. Being present during such an incident is so terrifying and incredibly sad. Just thinking about how the community must feel knowing this happened in what was likely considered a safe space is really concerning. Those who witnessed it firsthand and those who worked closely with Lida and Julio must be going through so much. I hope they're getting the support they need to cope with everything. It’s hard to come to terms with such loss and violence, especially from individuals who were part of the community fabric. Sending love and thoughts to all affected. What steps can be taken to ensure something like this doesn't happen again in our community spaces?

I can’t stop thinking about the role that stress and pressure might have played in this terrible tragedy involving Lida and Julio. Running a business is no small feat, and I imagine the weight of financial pressures or business disagreements might have been overwhelming. It's so difficult to comprehend how things could escalate in such a manner. My heart goes out to Lida’s family and friends, who must be struggling to understand how a person they knew and loved could be taken from them in an instant. I also think about the patrons who witnessed this horrendous act. I can't imagine the fear and trauma they experienced. I hope they find peace and healing in the days and months ahead. This whole situation is just so incredibly sad and highlights the importance of seeking help in times of conflict or distress.
